Popular sitcom Pepito Manaloto is entering its 15th year with a two-part anniversary and summer special airing on April 26 and May 3 on GMA-7.
The series, led by comedian Michael V., heads to the beach in San Juan, Batangas for a lighthearted storyline featuring regular cast members Manilyn Reynes, Ronnie Henares, John Feir, Chariz Solomon, Arthur Solinap, Mosang, Janna Dominguez, Angel Satsumi, and Jake Vargas. They are joined by Mikoy Morales, Jen Rosendahl, Cherry Malvar, Tony Lopena, Sophia Senoron, and Maureen Larrazabal. Guest stars include Gelli de Belen, Robb Guinto, and Jak Roberto.
The upcoming episodes follow the group through comedic mishaps, including a motel stay involving Pepito and a new character, Vanessa, as well as stories of heartbreak and familiar scams.
First aired in 2010, Pepito Manaloto has become a fixture in Filipino households, known for its portrayal of family life and moral values through comedy.
Michael V. said new developments are in store for the show’s characters. Reynes and Henares pointed to the strong relationships off-camera that have grown over the years, with the cast describing themselves as a family. John Feir added that some storylines are inspired by the production team’s own experiences.
Looking back at the past 15 years, Pepito Manaloto has become a huge part of every Filipino home and a source of laughter and inspiration. With this, Michael V. guarantees that they are giving it all to continue making everyone happy, “Magkakaroon ng extension ang buhay ng mga character sa show kaya kaabang-abang ‘yan. All out talaga kami rito.”
