Bataan beauty bags Miss Summit International PH crown

Lucia Beatriz Batol, a 22-year-old native of Samal, Bataan, received her sash and crown as Miss Summit International Philippines 2025 during the Sashing and Crowning ceremony held at Corte Ibiza in Quezon City on Saturday.

Batol, a student in Radiologic Technology at Trinity University of Asia, advocates for the promotion of elderly care in honor of her grandma, who took care of her when she was a child. She holds charitable events like medical missions with her family.

Batol wants to showcase the beauty of the province of Bataan to the world during the Miss Summit International 2025 pageant, to be held in Jaipur, India, on July 19.

Miss Summit International is a pageant that celebrates the beauty, passion, and accomplishments of women worldwide. More than just a competition, the pageant aims to empower women to embrace personal growth, develop leadership skills, and build self-confidence, and to provide opportunities for them to shine, share their stories, and make a lasting impact in their communities.

Sharon Idone, from Iloilo, won Miss Summit International 2024, held in Cebu, representing her father’s country of Italy.

MUPH ‘Queens of the Drive’ celebrate Earth Day

Miss Universe Philippines 2025 candidates joined in the celebration of Earth Day 2025 with Wuling Philippines, held at the Music Hall, SM Mall of Asia in Pasay on Sunday. The beauties walked the runway in the “Queens of the Drive” fashion show, taking away some spotlight from the Wuling electric vehicle models showcase.

The candidates included Teresita Winwyn Marquez of Muntinlupa City, Chelsea Fernandez of Sultan Kudarat, Jarina Sandhu of Isabela, Valerie West of Ifugao, Rechel Hoco of Oriental Mindoro, Juliana Fresado of Iligan City, Bella Dela Cruz of Lucena City, and Gwendoline Soriano of Baguio City.

Others were Natisumi Sekiguchi of Bacoor, Yana Ysabel Maranan of Batangas, Allyson Ee of Caloocan-Filipino Society of Northern California, Danelle Ann Catalan of Tandag City, Surigao del Sur, Ira de Castro of Angeles City, Jazzle Shannen Taga Iba of Dipolog City, and Jessica Victoria Cianchino of San Jose, Batangas.

The event also featured a press conference with Shamcey Supsup-Lee, one of the driving forces behind this movement.
