Young actress Andrea Brillantes is stepping into a more daring role as she joins the cast of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.
In an interview with TV Patrol on her first taping day, Andrea admitted she was nervous but excited to showcase a more mature side.
“Mas daring siya compared sa iba kong mga role. Mas level-up siya and mature. Personal decision ko na gawin ‘to,” she said, adding that this is her first time taking on a physically intimate role.
A teaser featuring Andrea in red lingerie, sharing a passionate scene with Jake Cuenca, quickly gained traction online, with fans eager to see her “new era.” The preview, which introduced other new cast members including Angel Aquino, Albert Martinez, Dante Rivero, Chanda Romero, and Celia Rodriguez, amassed three million views in less than 24 hours.
