Anthony Pangilinan spent months saving up to buy a new wedding ring for his wife, Maricel Laxa, just in time for her 55th birthday.
Laxa lost her original ring during a taping last year, and Pangilinan made it a personal mission to replace it.
On Feb. 25, during an intimate gathering, he surprised her with the ring and got down on one knee, asking, “Will you stay married to me after 30+ years?”
Pangilinan shared the moment on Facebook, writing, “She lost her wedding ring in taping last year, so after a few months of saving for it (I did!), I was able to replace it in time for her 55th birthday today. I love you, Maricel.”
The gesture quickly gained attention online, with fans praising Pangilinan’s thoughtfulness and dedication to Laxa.
