GMA Network unveils stellar lineup for diamond year

GMA Network, the country’s leading broadcast company, unveils a stellar program lineup as it celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2025. 

For its diamond year, audiences can expect a diverse range of entertainment that inspires, endures, and showcases world-class Filipino talent.

Kicking off with GMA Prime, Kapuso fans will enjoy an all-new prime experience featuring compelling storytelling and the brightest Kapuso stars.

Thrilling viewers beginning in January 2025 is the action-drama series Mga Batang Riles, starring Miguel Tanfelix as Kidlat, Kokoy de Santos as Kulot, Bruce Roeland as Matos, Raheel Bhyria as Sig, and Antonio Vinzon as Dagul. Joining GMA’s homegrown talents are esteemed actors Roderick Paulate, Jeric Raval, Jay Manalo, Diana Zubiri, Desiree del Valle, and Ronnie Ricketts.

Primetime action hero Ruru Madrid returns as Lolong in the show’s much-awaited new season ‘Lolon: Bayani ng Bayan’

Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado star in Sanggang Dikit, a buddy-cop series set against the backdrop of political intrigue and personal rivalries. The high-octane action series channels the style of 80s action films, complete with explosive stunts, gunfights, and thrilling storylines.

Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre delves deeper into the magical world of Encantadia, starring Faith da Silva, Angel Guardian, Kelvin Miranda, and Bianca Umali. The series follows Terra, a young woman who discovers her magical powers and her true identity as a Sang’gre, destined to defend her people and the mystical world of Encantadia.

New seasons from GMA Public Affairs also make their way to GMA Prime. Ruru Madrid returns as the titular character in Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan, where Lolong embarks on a perilous journey to recover the legendary Ubtao to save his beloved Elsie and his people.

Bringing light-hearted romance to primetime, My Ilongga Girl stars Jillian Ward as a doppelgänger of a missing celebrity, while Beauty Empire explores the skin and beauty industry through powerful female moguls.

The Afternoon Prime block offers heartfelt dramas, including Prinsesa ng City Jail, starring Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay, and Binibining Marikit, starring Herlene Budol and Pokwang.
