Who will be crowned Miss World Philippines 2024 tonight?
It’s time for the crowning of Miss World Philippines 2024, who will succeed the outgoing Miss World Philippines 2023, Gwendolyne Fourniol. The event is happening live tonight at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Other titles at stake are Miss Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2024 and Miss Tourism Philippines 2024.
Miss World Organization Chairman/CEO Julia Morley arrived in Manila on Tuesday, bringing with her the reigning Miss World 2023, Krystyna Pyszkova, in time for the Miss World Philippines Charity Gala Night held on Wednesday at Okada Manila.
Morley and Pyszkova’s arrival added a boost to the Miss World Philippines competition while continuing the MWO’s “Beauty with a Purpose” charity mission in the country.
Miss World Philippines continues to be a hotly contested pageant, consistently attracting worthy contenders. Among the 35 aspirants, the predicted possible winners are as follows:
Krishnah Gravidez (23) of Baguio City, placed in the Top 5 of Miss Universe Philippines 2023. A student of Civil Engineering and founder of the non-profit Colors of Kindness charity, which supports youth and children’s welfare, her fierce and outstanding beauty makes her perfect for Reina Hispanomericana. She could also be a strong contender for Miss World Philippines.
Jasmine Omay (26) of Tarlac Province, is a model and pilot who placed in the Top 12 of Bb. Pilipinas 2022. Tall and regal, she aims to build a school for Aeta children. Her divine and sweet demeanor makes her a fitting candidate for the Miss World Philippines crown.
Rhiana Agatha Pangindian (24) of Kapitolyo, Pasig City, is a model and graduate with a degree in Secondary Education from UST. She was the First Princess in Miss World Philippines 2021 and advocates for youth empowerment through education. Rhiana is both beautiful and exotic.
Patricia Bianca Tapia (26) of Batangas City, placed in the Top 20 of Miss Universe Philippines 2024. She holds a master’s degree in Management and Leadership from Pepperdine University in California, USA, and advocates for inclusive education.
Sofi Maxim Margareta Grenmo (19) of Cebu radiates confidence and grace during the Miss World Philippines screening. She is a BS Tourism student who grew up in a multi-cultural household and is active in community-based aid response advocacies.
Alexandra Azañes of Lucena City, Quezon Province, graduated with an AB Communication degree from Southern Luzon State University, Lucban, Quezon Province. She has undergone training as a cabin crew member to become a flight attendant. Her titles include Bb. Pustura 2018, Bb. Calabanga Camarines Sur 2018, and Bb. Quezon Youth 2019.
Gabrielle Lantzer (19) of Manila, is a model and student at De La Salle University who advocates for community engagement and support.
Jeanne Isabelle Bilasano (26) of Bicol Region, is a Speech-Language Pathologist who placed in the Top 11 of Bb. Pilipinas 2023. She advocates for accessible healthcare and rehabilitation.
Hosting the live presentation are singer Billy Crawford and Miss Universal Woman 2024 Maria Gigante, while serving as anchor hosts are Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2021 Emmanuelle Vera and actor Teejay Marquez. Guest performers include OPM band The Juans, P-pop boy group BILIB, P-pop girl group KAIA, Johnoy Danao and the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra.
