After Marian Rivera made waves online on Monday, July 9, by translating a question for a candidate at Century Tuna Superbods 2024, the actress reacted to seeing her name on X’s trending list.
During the beauty and fitness competition, Marian was one of the judges. When it was her turn to ask her question, the contestant politely requested that Marian translate it into English.
The 39-year-old actress made the audience laugh when she said, “I will try my best. Are you ready for this? Listen very carefully. Here’s my question.”
In a side interview during Cinemalaya 2024’s press conference on Wednesday, July 10, Marian was asked about her reactions to being on the trending list.
Marian laughed as she quipped, “I did my best.”
The Kapuso actress is gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie, Balota, which is one of the Cinemalaya entries this year. Directed by Kip Oebanda, Balota will be screening from August 2 to 11.
