Kapamilya singer Darren Espanto’s dance challenge for his latest single “Bibitaw Na” has already spawned over 1.3 million views on TikTok two weeks after the song’s release.
Apart from netizens who are taking the blues away with the easy dance sequence, celebrities such as Martin Nievera, KZ Tandingan, Colet and Sheena of BINI, and Cassy Legaspi have also taken on the fun challenge.
Meanwhile, the pop heartthrob opened It’s Showtime on September 30 with the engaging performance of his dance-pop track, dedicating it to those who are on the verge of quitting.
“To all those who have experienced a situation like that, who found themselves in the same position where they needed to let go for their own good, this is for you,” Darren said in Filipino during his live performance in It’s Showtime.
In a previous Instagram post, he described “Bibitaw Na,” which he composed himself, as “the perfect relapse-no-more anthem.” He first performed the song in ASAP Natin ‘To in Milan followed by its digital drop last September 15.
