Indonesian-born singer-songwriter and rising artist NIKI treated her Filipino fans to electrifying performances during her first solo show in Manila on Wednesday at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. The concert was part of her globe-spanning Nicole tour, which kicked off in North America in May.

NIKI opened the Manila show by singing “Before,” the first track of her 2022 album. She also performed some of her heartbreaking songs such as “Keeping Tabs”, “Autumn”, “Anaheim”, “Take A Chance with Me,” and “La La Lost You.”

Before singing one of her top hits, “urs,” the 24-year-old artist expressed her gratitude to her fans for giving her a sold-out concert.

The 24-year-old artist is known for her hit songs ‘lowkey’ and ‘Every Summertime’

“It’s so good to be back in Manila. It’s like my first ever headline arena show ever in my career, you guys sold out in like minutes,” said NIKI.

The concert marked a significant milestone for Niki as it was her debut solo concert in Manila.

“Thank you so, so much. This would be nothing without you. Thank you for being here,” she added.

As she introduced another song, “The Apartment We Won’t Share,” NIKI described it as a track she wrote imagining a future with somebody but somehow wasn’t able to live it out.

“So sometimes, you get sad, and you hole up in your room and you write a song about it. And I did that,” NIKI continued as she began singing the first lines of the song.

NIKI then asked her fans to put their lights up before singing “Oceans & Engines.” Then after taking a quick break, NIKI entered the stage once again wearing a high school ensemble for her performance of “High School in Jakarta.”

NIKI came back quickly to the stage because she knew she had to play the next two songs before wrapping up her concert.

The singer wrapped up the set with her hit song “lowkey” and let her thousands of fans sing every line with her.

“We’ve got one more song. You’re gonna give it all you’ve got, right?” asked NIKI.

She ended the show singing “Every Summertime,” leaving her Filipino Moonchildren on their feet.

The “Nicole” tour is presented by Live MNL.
