Hip-hop-RnB artist Jade Ivy returns to the music industry with his newest singe ‘Jelly’

Released on March 10, under O/C Records, this new release came over a year since his last single, “3AM.”

Jelly frames a vibing record that describes a patent rendition of comparing the “peach emoji” or pictogram used in one of today’s modern communication modes to a lady’s behind.

“Jelly is something that I came up with out of a fantasy and I just wanted to describe a specific girl,” Jade Ivy states.

Chiefly inspired by the music video of the song “Taste,” performed by American rapper artists Tyga and Offset, “Jelly” was crafted to fervidly describe the artist’s whimsical image of a “dream girl fantasy” displaying a “freaky, bouncy, sexy, and clingy” features.

The track delivers a tune echoing a combination of Hiphop and RnB records—projecting a mixture of “sexy” and “fierce” sonic flavors for everyone to consume.

Produced alongside GFAB who also mixed and mastered the track, “Jelly” exhibits Jade Ivy’s motion in telling ravishing records.

Jade Ivy’s songwriting techniques highlight a rough and assertive vibe which was captured through his previous romantic releases, “3AM,” “Puyat,” and “With Benefits.”

While it took a little time to render new art pieces to share, the artist asserts that the year-long break from sharing his music with his listeners was filled with preparations to reintroduce more of Jade Ivy—one that has a “new vibe” to offer.

“Listeners and fans will hear new sounds from Jade Ivy wherein I’m not just some simple party guy. Because this year, I have new stories to tell and new adventures in store,” Jade Ivy states.

Starting off with this new single carrying noteworthy characteristics of style and plot. “The style that I used in the track Jelly was different because I mixed English and Tagalog language to tell the story, wherein more people can vibe to and mas pinalawak ko ang sakop ng taong makakapag vibe ng song.”

“Jelly” is available now on digital streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and more.
