Misters of Filipinas’ Jovy Bequillo bagged the first Man Hot Star International 2022 title during finals held at the real Icon Siam in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday night. He won 500,000 Thai baht plus more cash from Guy Laroche, Mont Fleur and Rimtalay Resort.
“Despite our cultural and language differences, I’m here to contribute, and showcase my talent here in Thailand and I’m ready to take on the challenge as your first Man Hot Star International winner,” said the 27-year-old, 6-foot model during the Top 5 question and answer round. He bested Time of Thailand (first runner up), Jin of Korea (2nd), Max of Thailand (3rd) and Kim of Korea (4th).
An employee at the Department of Agrarian Reform, Bequillo is a dead ringer for beauty king June Macasaet and Actor Jordan Herrera, and was the former Bicolandia Pretty Boy 2012.
