In her vlog, Barbie Imperial disproves the rumor linking her romantically with Daniel Padilla. It all started when she was seen in the house of Daniel’s family last December. She was spotted in the video when the group Beks Battalion sang Christmas carols for the family.

There was no explanation why she was with Daniel’s mother Karla Estrada on the occasion. But rumors started to spread like wildfire.

“I just kept quiet when that rumor popped out. First of all, I became shy toward Kathryn Bernardo,” Barbie avers.

The actress explains that she was there because of Karla and Daniel’s sister Maggie.

Barbie Imperial clarifies that Karla Estrada is her go-to person after her break-up with Diego Loyzaga

“I’m friends with both of them. I went there at the time when Diego (Loyzaga) and I just broke up. I needed their comfort and company since my mom wasn’t here at that time. As you all know, I’m close to Tita Karla as well and to Ms. Ara Mina because they both supported my relationship with Diego before so they’re my go-to people.”

She also confirms that her relationship with Diego ended in December and admits that she didn’t want to talk about the failed romance as she was still trying to wrap her head around the emotional state she was in.

“I decided to go to Tita Karla because she treats me and Diego like her own children. When I went to their place, Daniel wasn’t there. It’s only her and Maggie. The Beks Batallion was also present.”

Barbie says she’s not the type who will fall for a guy who’s already in a relationship.

“I respect whatever Kath and Daniel have. They’re in their tenth year. I respect their relationship and that holds true for any couple. I will never become the third party.”

There is also this rumor that Daniel allegedly comforted and hugged her when she was crying over her break-up with Diego, which Barbie immediately dismisses.

Kim Chiu praised the acting her boyfriend Xian Lim exhibited in their latest potboiler titled, Always, which also serves as their reunion vehicle after seven years. Their last movie together was the 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival entry All You Need is Pag-ibig.

“Xian is much deeper now. He’s very intense. He was very much into the character. In fact, he underwent a strict diet. You’ll really admire his topless scenes. He is really more loveable now,” says Kim.

The Kapamilya star is proud of the positive developments in her beau’s career.

“Xi is really different now. We haven’t collaborated on a project for quite some time now so I was really surprised. During the shooting, there were moments when I just stayed in our director’s booth and watched his scenes. We got impressed because his acting is so intense.”

Always is the Philippine adaptation of the 2011 Korean film with the same title which was headlined by So Ji-sub and Han Hyo-joo. This is Kim’s maiden project under Viva and she’s very happy because the material is different from all the romantic comedies she and Xian have done in the past.

“That’s true! I’m glad that this was offered to me. Apart from working with Xi, I really missed acting. Lately, I am more into hosting and dancing guest appearances. So, this is simply a good development. I want to thank Viva for the opportunity they gave me,” she states.
