Young Kapuso love team Miguel Tanfelix and Ysabel Ortega point out that their upcoming drama series What We Could Be is not a preparation for Voltes V: Legacy in which they are also paired.

In a recent interview, Miguel and Ysabel said that the project was really intended to be shown ahead of Voltes V: Legacy.

“We all know that the latter is an ambitious project and very huge in scope so there are still a lot of things to be done before its full completion. There are things to prepare. But Voltes V: Legacy is not focused on a love team. It’s not the main story,” they said.

What We Could Be, according to Miguel, has a different plot.

“This project is entirely different from Voltes V: Legacy. When we were doing this, it felt different since it’s a different genre.”

The two don’t deny that they became closer when they did “What We Could Be.” In fact, many speculate that they’re an item already.

“Isabel and I, we’re really very close. If you’ll ask how I’ll describe our relationship, it’s smooth. For one, we’re comfortable with each other. We help each other in doing our scenes. We talk and discuss before and after the take. When it comes to our personal state, I can say that it’s okay. We’re happy about it. It’s generally fine. I can’t think of a word to describe it. But as I’ve mentioned earlier, we’re happy together,” Miguel averred.

“Perhaps, the best label for us is ‘what we could be,’” Ysabel said in jest.

“Well, I’m open to all possibilities. First of all, I’m single and so is she. It can happen. We don’t know what the future holds. Let’s just wait and see,” Miguel butted in.

For Ysabel, it’s important that they just enjoy their time together. She believes that it’s part of the cycle of doing a show.

“We’re very close with everyone there. We make it a point to develop our relationship outside of work. It helps in the projects we’re doing. As of now, Miguel and I are simply enjoying the moment. We enjoy what we do together,” she ended.

Actress Eula Valdes is very happy to be working again with GMA through its latest afternoon drama series titled, Return to Paradise headlined by Derrick Monasterio and Elle Villanueva.

“It’s a jolly set for one. My work relationship with my fellow actors and the production team is just great! Everyone is treated fairly. Work is light when there’s unity on the set and everyone is easy to deal with,” she explained.

What can she say that she has breathed life into the character of a mother searching for her lost child a couple of times already?

“Well, I believe that there’s no small role. In every acting assignment, there is a challenge. It depends on the actor on how you’ll make your attack special.”

Interestingly, what can she say about Elle since this is her major project as a female lead?

“She is fearless! She doesn’t get intimidated by our scenes together. She is serious with her craft. Apart from her beauty, she’s got what it takes to become a good actress,” Eula stated.
