The World of the Married and My Name star Han So Hee encountered a facial injury on the filming set for Gyeongseong Creature last August 3.
Her agency 9ato Entertainment confirmed the incident on the same day and assured the fans that it was not a significant injury.
“She is not in a state where she has to get surgery,” a 9ato representative stated.
Despite the wound not needing stitches, the degree of it was not small, and So Hee was still required to take a break from filming.
An official in the scene shared that an object hanging from the rope during an action scene hit the actress’ face when the rope broke.
Reports say the actress is currently resting at home and will return to work after several days. However, she won’t return to her schedule for a week or more.
Her agency added no other relevant disruptions would affect the filming schedule.
Due to the nature of the film, So Hee has a significant amount of action scenes, so the risk of acquiring injuries is high.
Gyeongseong Creature, set in 1945, tells a story about the main characters’ fight for survival. Along with So Hee, who plays Yoon Chae Ok, is Park Seo Joon, taking the lead role as Jang Tae Sang.
