Indonesia’s rising artist Pamungkas will grace the stage of Mandaluyong for GNN Production’s music show Gimme Shelter this August 2022.
The venue will be at 123 Block Mandala Park, Mandaluyong City, on August 6. Tickets are at P1050 and are available through this link.
Filipino OPM Bands Ben&Ben, Munimuni, Cheats, and She’s Only Sixteen will also perform on the show.
Pamungkas’ popular song ‘To the Bone’ garnered a top spot in Indonesia’s Top 50 on Spotify and was ranked fifth in the Philippines. The Jakarta-based singer also received a nomination for the Best Solo Asian Act at BandLab NME Awards 2022.
Gimme Shelter is a musical show produced by GNN Entertainment to present classic pop and rock music. “Named after The Rolling Stones’ classic 1969 single, Gimme Shelter recognizes the impact of live music as home to a lot of people and in many aspects, serves as a reprieve from the agonizing uncertainty that defined the early years of the pandemic,” Milley Habito, GNN Entertainment Producer, said.
“This is our way of taking the sour parts of the distant past and making a sweet batch of lemonade: served fresh for people who want to experience a ‘home’ away from home—a shelter, so to speak,” Habito added.
