Why Julia doesn’t want Joshua to be in a relationship just yet

According to Joshua Garcia, his former girlfriend Julia Barretto told him not to engage in any romantic relationship yet. And the young actor doesn’t see any problem with that advice.

Prior to their talk, Julia said that she always tells Joshua to focus on his career more at this point especially since he is making a name as one of his generation’s most reliable dramatic actors.

“She tells me that every time we see each other. I tell her back, ‘Why can’t I? Is it only you who can?’ But seriously, I think her advice is logical. There are lots of good developments in my career this year. There is continuous work for me. Projects just land on my lap. I feel so blessed,” he relates.

When it comes to his personal life, Joshua doesn’t really close his doors believing that if someone comes along and they’re on the same wavelength and everything’s smooth, then, he’s welcoming the possibility that something will eventually lead to something.

“I want it to happen at the right time. I don’t want to rush and jump into a relationship right away,” Joshua explains.

People laud him for still maintaining his friendship with Julia despite their split-up.

“When you love someone, you want her to grow. Even if it’s painful on your part, it’s just okay. It’s already a thing of the past,” he states.

Meanwhile, Joshua feels proud that he’s part of the latest reboot of Darna, which features Jane de Leon in the title role, and Janella Salvador as the main arch nemesis Valentina.

He said he can’t wait until it starts airing and he considers it an exciting and unique project. “It’s something new and is not normally done in the Philippines. The action and special effects are spectacular.”

Kylie Padilla says she’s already open to the idea of having a new relationship after her failed marriage with Aljur Abrenica but she’s not really in a hurry. But the 29-year-old actress maintains that her kids are still her priority.

Even if she’s already open to entertaining a new romance in her life, the actress reveals that it won’t be easy for the guy.

“There are checklists. He will undergo a lot of tests. I don’t know who can endure knowing that my kids are my top priority, then myself. My work comes in next,” she says.

Kylie admits that she learned a lot of lessons from her past relationship and that the qualities she looks for in a man have also changed.

“I just feel I matured a lot. I’ve learned to be grateful for the things that I already have,” the Bolera star ends.
