Contrary to her previous statement that I Left My Heart in Sorsogon would be her last television soap, it seems that Heart Evangelista recently changed her mind.
“Well, I realized that I still love my acting craft,” she said. “It’s the reason why I have a showbiz career in the first place. Yes, I would still like to do teleseryes but it would all depend if I have free time to work.”
The realization came after she started watching her recently-concluded GMA-7 soap.
“I know that the last time, I said it with finality but as I watched the program, I realized how I love acting and would surely miss it if ever. As of the moment, perhaps, it would be my last soap. It would take some time before I make another one,” she admitted.
If she wouldn’t be able to do a series, the 37-year-old actress and fashion icon is open to doing TV specials.
“It’s just the schedule. As of now, my hands are full. I have so much to balance. I have my husband and I can’t promise that I will have time.”
As for a movie project, her last film was in the Dennis Trillo top-biller Felix Manalo in 2015. Heart admitted that she’d love to do a movie.
“I’m very much interested to do a movie once again. It just really depends on who my leading man would be. I am okay with films considering that the shoot can only take up to 15 days,” she ended.

Comedy Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas recently flew back to the Philippines to do a new project with GMA titled, Raising Mamay.
It can be remembered that she went to the States last November to enjoy her Green Card which was granted to her in 2015. Part of her plan was to petition hubby Gerald Sibayan. She had the blessing of the Kapuso management and promised that if a very good project comes along, she’d come back.
Ai-Ai attended the zoom story conference of her new drama series along with director Don Michael Perez and some of her co-stars like Joyce Ching, Ina Feleo, and Valerie Concepcion. If everything goes smoothly as planned, especially when it comes to the safety health protocols being implemented, the lock-in taping for Raising Mamay will begin this week.
According to reports, Ai-Ai is excited to portray a new character. It will be entirely different from the roles she used to portray on screen. As a preparation, she is looking for children aged six to seven years old whom she can spend time with and study their characteristics.
The ace comedienne’s dramatic skills will be tested once again in this project, which will also feature Sparkle love team Shayne Sava and Abdul Raman.
“My role here in Raising Mamay is beautiful but hard as well. I need to deliver a good and unforgettable performance,” Ai-Ai concluded.
