TV star Kim Domingo is glad that after two years of hiatus due to the pandemic, she’s back on the scene once again. She’s one of the stars in the month-long Wish Ko Lang Christmas Specials on GMA-7.
She has already appeared in a Wish Ko Lang episode but this time, according to the sexy actress, the experience is different, “it’s like acting in a movie.”
“And it has a beautiful storyline. Definitely, it teaches a lot of essential life lessons,” she stated.
Kim admits that during the initial stage of the taping, she felt quite nervous. She felt as if she was just starting all over again.
“I was under pressure especially since my scenes were with Ms. Lotlot de Leon. But I told myself, I have to give it my best shot. I’m relieved that I was able to pull it off,” she said.
Meanwhile, Kim has been vocal about her conscious effort to drop her sexy image. Some three years ago, she started a more reserved public image.
“Well, honestly, I noticed a decline in my following. Before, when I was still donning a sexy image, the numbers were huge. But now, my following in my social media accounts decreased. I’m very much aware of that fact.”
Nonetheless, the 26-year-old actress stated that she’s not closing her doors to any projects that might require her to show some skin.
“It still depends on the project, story, and character. But the sexy things I did before, I can’t do anymore. I want the public to see that I have talents to show and I need not sport a very sexy image.”
It is in this light that Kim hopes GMA will be able to give her more challenging materials in the coming days that will highlight her artistic skills.
“Yes, I really wish that they would give me more chances of exhibiting my wares to the viewers.”
If given the opportunity, Kim would love to breathe life into challenging characters like that of someone with a split personality.
“For me, that would be very challenging and exciting to do,” ended Kim.
