People…are talking about: Sarah Geronimo

Last week, the pop star rubbed elbows with the world’s finest rock icons and even walked home with the Best Asian Performer award at the Classic Rock Awards in Tokyo. Sarah G. has never failed to surprise her fans. It’s a statement that no one on the local music scene has taken her place. Not even the other singer who has a Diamond record award to her name.

Ellen Adarna

Is she having a secret romance with the President’s youngest son? The photo of her and Baste with their lips locked says probably “yes.” Prior to this photo that now circulates online, Ellen was spotted with the young Duterte aboard an aircraft looking too close they would be mistaken as a couple. Whether or not the photo is authentic, it only makes Ellen a hot topic among netizens.

Dingdong and Marian

The online world is feasting on the rumor that the couple will star in a primetime soap sometime next year. Though there’s no official statement from the Kapuso Network yet, fans have instantly picked up the idea and suggested what story is best for their comeback as on-screen couple. We just wished though that it is something original and well thought of, besides, it’s their last shot to convince the audience that they still deserved to be called King and Queen of primetime.

People…are not talking about

Isabelle Duterte

Being a relative to the country’s most powerful man doesn’t mean the person has sure ticket to stardom. It’s actually the other way around, most especially if she doesn’t have what it takes to be in show business. Case in point, talent manager Annabelle Rama has recently introduced Pres. Duterte’s granddaughter as one of her wards. The 16-year-old wanted to be an actress. So, there. Let’s just wait what’s going to happen next.

Kris Aquino

It’s easy to accept the President’s alibi why he was a no-show at an event in Davao where he’s supposed to meet with the TV host for an exclusive sit-down interview. The so-called Queen of All Media just downplayed the epic snub but it didn’t stop people from thinking that the country’s chief of staff just made Kris realize that she no longer has the same clout as when her brother was in Malacañang and when there’s still a big media outfit behind her.

Sharon Cuneta

For the first time, we’re able to see something relevant from her post online, which normally just about musings or anything angst-sy. However, she received a backlash from netizens after she complained about the slow wi-fi connection in the country. They reminded the singer that her husband is a lawmaker who can be part of the solution to this problem. Sharon didn’t hit back, perhaps realizing she was barking up the wrong tree.
