Asked why it’s only now that she and fellow Kapuso talent Pancho Magno became open with their three-year relationship, Max Collins said, “We just felt that it’s already that long and it’s hard to lie to the public. I guess it’s high time to admit what’s really going on between us.”
Despite their admittance, the lovely star stresses that marriage is one thing that’s far from her mind.
“Oh no, not at this point. Actually, if Pancho would ask me to marry him, I would definitely. But in the right time and it’s not that soon!”
It’s more of a personal goal for Max.
I really need to work,” she avers. “I want to strike while the iron is hot, so to speak. Even if say, Pancho would tell me that he’d just be the one to work for us in case we tie the knot, still, I won’t give in. I want to achieve my dreams in life first before I settle down. That way, I won’t have any regrets in the future. Like, my career is doing well now so I would love to make the most out of the opportunities that are coming my way.”
With this mindset, when will she be prepared to exchange marital vows?
“It would all depend on how my career goes. If I’d be able to save enough from my showbiz earnings, then I might consider. Anyway, I’m just 24 now. But hope I’d walk down the aisle before I reach 30. Ha-ha-ha!”
So, Pancho has to wait?
“Yes, he has to! Ha-ha-ha! If he can’t, then it’s okay!”
With regards to her intimate scenes with Tom Rodriguez in their currently airing GMA soap Someone to Watch over Me, Max reveals she asked for Pancho’s nod first.
“Yes, of course! He’s an integral part of my life. He has to know. It’s good that my boyfriend is understanding, and professional. Being an actor himself, he knows that it’s part of the job. I’m indeed fortunate in this area because Pancho is open-minded,” she ends.

It’s just fine with Bea Binene if Derrick Monasterio is vocal about the possibility the two of them would end up together someday.
“For one, we have chemistry, dating back to our Tween Hearts days. Then, we got paired in Vampire ang Daddy Ko and Hanggang Makita Kang Muli, which earned positive feedbacks. Now, we’re in Tsuperhero as a result of our strong following in social media. I’m thankful that we have a show together once again,” she says.
According to Derrick, she is more than a friend to him.
“And I must say it’s quite flattering! I guess, any girl who will hear this will feel the same. But of course, I don’t want the public to think that this is just a publicity stunt for Tsuperhero. As of now, I’m okay with the kind of closeness we have. I know Derrick very well, like when he’s serious or joking. I’m very close not only to him but to his family as well!”
It seems that something’s holding her back.
“Well, let’s just say that I still don’t want to rush into a new relationship. It’s not that I have trust issues but I just opt to be more careful and cautious.”
At this point, the charming lass wants to be sure of her feelings for Derrick.
“As I’ve said before, we are working on a project right now. I don’t want to connect it to whatever feelings we have for each other. I think it’s far better to let things stay this way at the moment—no pressure, no expectation. Our working relationship is better because we won’t get conscious with what people will say,” Bea states.
