The filmmakers behind Ignacio de Loyola – an epic retelling of the life of the founder of the Society of Jesus – are the guests in today’s episode of Art 2 Art.

Writer/director Paolo Dy and associate director Cathy Azanza-Dy relate to Art 2 Art host Lisa Macuja the challenges they faced filming in various locations in Spain given budget constraints and the language barrier.

Produced by the Manila Broadcasting Company, Art 2 Art airs Sundays, 3:30-4 p.m., on DZRH (666 khz on the AM band), on cable television via RHTV (Channel 18 on Cignal Cable) and online livestreaming at http://dzrhnewstelevision.tv. The show may also be viewed through the Facebook account DZRH News Television.

‘Art 2 Art’ host Lisa Macuja with Paolo Dy and Cathy Azanza-Dy sharing their humorous experiences while filming ‘Ignacio de Loyola’ in Spain

On Aug. 14, tour specialist and publisher Clang Garcia talks about her Jeepney Tours, which takes visitors on a tour of Manila aboard a customized jeepney, and her recently released book, Food Holidays, which explores the culinary culture of the Philippines.

On Aug.21, the a capella group, Acapellago, talks about the discipline and dynamics of singing sans instruments. The group – composed of Michelle Pascual, Almond Bolante, Joshua Cadeliña, Ronnel Allen Laderas and Ricky Gavin Laderas – will regale Art 2 Art followers with their viral sensation “Tatlong Bibe” and other songs.
