Gary Valenciano is back for a fresh, new serving of his critically acclaimed and smash hit concert franchise Gary V Presents…, this time at Kia Theater in Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City on July 15 and 16.
This is the third and much awaited installment of Gary V Presents…, which had a successful maiden run at Resorts World Manila last year.
Directed by Gary Valenciano with son Paolo Valenciano and with musical direction by Mon Faustino, it is a must-see musical extravaganza that will feature Gary with his personal choice of new and up and coming artists, which consists of The X-Factor Philippines season 1 top finalist Allan Silonga of the all-male vocal group Daddy’s Home; world music singer Bullet Dumas; award-winning theater actress Carla Guevara-Laforteza; the talented singers of The Voice Of The Philippines such as season one grand winner Mitoy Yonting, season 1 grand finalist Janice Javier, season 1 finalist RJ Dela Fuente, and season 2 finalist Timmy Pavino; Star In A Million season 2 grand finalist and R&B singer Jimmy Marquez; award-winning recording artist and singer-songwriter Kiana Valenciano; and suklay diva and Internet sensation Katrina Velarde; and classical-pop singer Lara Maigue of TV-5’s top-rating series Trenderas. To spice up the line-up, singer-songwriter Abby Asistio will be featured as the concert’s opening act.
These artists are all known for their exceptional artistry and the respective musical genres they each represent. Most of them were catapulted to mainstream recognition after they became part of different talent competitions on national TV. Gary chose them to be part of the concert on the basis of their individual achievements as solo artists as they are rapidly conquering the fields of recording, live shows and local bar circuits, theater, and television.
The amazing repertoire of the show will showcase Gary’s most well-loved hits as well as a sampling of songs that have been identified with him for past 33 years. Each of the songs will be re-arranged to highlight each of the guest artist’s respective genres in their spot numbers as well as in their production numbers with Gary.
