Pueblo de Panay (PdP), a flagship project of Pueblo de Panay Inc (PdPI) is currently being built on a 500-hectare site at Roxas City, Capiz. Pueblo de Panay is being touted as an “emerging location for IT-BPM investments in the Philippines” by the Information Technology and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP). Assessed using the Next Wave Cities scorecard, Roxas City recently earned high points in talent availability, presence of infrastructure, good business environment, and cost competitiveness. Pueblo de Panay’s township concept involves a mixed-use integrated community, with 7.4-hectare parcel which was given a PEZA license as a technopark. Future locators include a university, a hospital, a four-star hotel, a food terminal complex,and themed residential communities, foremost of which would be Sitio Uno (see photo), the first premiere vertical mixed-use condominium in Capiz. Sitio Uno will feature 20 luxurious commercial units for lease and 88 residential units.
