Ayala Land’s Nuvali was recently recognized by the “Integrated Resource Management in Asian Cities: the Urban Nexus” project, as a quality model for urban planning and sustainable resource management. The Urban Nexus project seeks to foster sustainable urban development by embedding resource management policies at the national and global levels. The project is headed by the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) in partnership with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP, and the ICLEI Local Government for Sustainability. Nuvali is Ayala Land’s flagship eco-community and its largest development to date at 2,290 hectares, straddling the cities of Santa Rosa, Calamba and Cabuyao in Laguna.
