Leading independent ideas agency GIGIL is beefing up its capabilities with the promotion of eight executives and the hiring of three key personnel.
The promoted team members are Dionie Tanada, Jeano Cruz, JC Aujero, Seph Asentista, Jim Jimenez, Bev Lubid, Micco Balana, and Kim Gow.
As part of its expansion efforts to provide full service to its clients, the agency also hired key personnel Margie Husmalaga, Zahi Depaling, and Lei Barde.
“All of them have embraced the brave mindset of GIGIL. They genuinely care for our clients, and we are excited about the even greater things they will do for them,” said Jake Yrastorza, GIGIL Managing Partner.
Tanada and Cruz were named the agency’s first Creative Directors, having masterminded some of the agency’s most viral campaigns that have built clients’ businesses.
Aujero and Asentista were part of these campaigns and were promoted to Senior Art Directors.
On the accounts side, Jimenez rose to Group Account Director while Lubid and Balana are the agency’s newest Account Directors. Gow, on the other hand, stepped up as Account Supervisor.
Husmalaga joined GIGIL as Media Manager, armed with a solid track record on performance marketing, especially in her role in achieving record-breaking attendance figures for DigiCon for several years.
Depaling, who has a wealth of experience in media relations and risks and crisis mitigation, has been designated as GIGIL’s Public Relations Manager.
Lastly, Barde joined the agency as its Human Resource Manager with over a decade of HR experience, having worked in ABS-CBN, SeaOil and Canva Manila where she developed the company’s award-winning mental health program.

Our Media and PR departments will fortify the agency, allowing us to offer fuller marketing communications services to our partners,” Yrastorza said.
