A two-day bazaar event featuring women-led businesses, brands, and creators is set to take place at the UP Town Center Activity Area in Katipunan, Quezon City, from March 22 to 23 (10 a.m. to 10 p.m.).

Known as “HERitage Market,” the initiative is brought by the UP Delta Lambda Sigma Sorority (UP DLS) in time for the International Women’s Month observation.

The weekend event will give women entrepreneurs a platform to share their stories, sell their products, and build a supportive community.

Powered by women entrepreneurs, HERitage Market will showcase a lineup of offerings from clothing and accessories to art and food, among other exclusive finds.

Participating brands include Pinas Sadya, Tahanan Pottery, Aerospritz, Aretes, Bag’ito, BakeBox, Balay Baler, Corrsy’s Kitchen, Cookie Kiss, Eskinita, Estained Cosmetics, Fiasfud, Hanap Habi, Hando, Heritage Finds, Hiraya Lizan, Light Treats, Loveleo Faith Jewelry, Luna and Omi, Mommy’s Closet, Pastilan sa UP, Punique, Rememberry, Salo, Scenties Club, Stop and Style, Stories and Sparkle, Takuu, Tagani Spirits, Teatime Crafts, The Clea Files, Twelve Topaz, TYMO, The Dough Kitchen, Toi Manila, Tradicion, Urbana Studios, Vaña, Vina Jewelry, Worn Expressions, and Who Enjoys.

According to UP DLS, organizing the bazaar to coincide with International Women’s Month reflects the sorority’s “unwavering commitment to uplifting women, promoting innovation, and honoring the heritage of resilience and empowerment that unites women everywhere.”

Founded by several women scholars, UP DLS is behind several flagship projects designed to empower and embolden women.

In November 2024, the sorority partnered with the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), which shelters over 700 persons deprived of liberty (PDLs), to launch “Project Stitch.”

The initiative spotlights women who, despite being part of a vulnerable sector, continue to provide for their families while incarcerated by handcrafting artisan goods sold through BJMP’s livelihood programs.

The handiwork of these female PDLs will be showcased and available at the HERitage Market, meaning every item purchased celebrates their talent while empowering them with the opportunity to support their families and rebuild their futures.
