GIGIL, the country’s leading and independent ad agency, scored yet another victory as it  made it to the illustrious list of companies with the highest growth rate in the Asia Pacific.

In the recently concluded Fifth Annual FT Rankings of 500 high-growth Asia Pacific companies, GIGIL Agency was inducted to the roster of top organizations that registered the fastest and highest revenues from 2018 to 2021.

A Singaporean energy firm leads all 500 participants while Japan came as the overall leader with a total of 136 fast-growing companies on the list.  South Korea sits in second place with 78 companies, followed by Singapore with 75 firms. India, which accounts for 73 companies, ranks fourth.

The Philippines has a total of 11 companies coming from Fintech, Financial, and Professional Services that made it to the top 500. GIGIL is the lone advertising agency in the group and ranks 30th on the list. However, it is the highest-ranked advertising agency in all of Asia-Pacific.

All of the 11 Philippine companies on the  list were also inducted into this year’s edition of Philippine Growth Champions, a compilation of top 25 firms in the country with the highest growth rate in terms of profit, an initiative jointly produced by a prominent broadsheet in the country and Statista, an international research firm.

GIGIL Agency posted a 155.1% revenue growth for 2018 with a total of P368,423,164 income.

Statista identified tens of thousands of companies in the Asia-Pacific region as potential candidates for the rankings by looking into their databases, income and other vital information.

Those who registered had to meet the specific criteria which included the following:  revenue of at least $100,000 generated in 2018 (or currency value equivalent as of 2018);  revenue of at least $1 million generated in 2021 (or currency value equivalent as of 2021); revenue growth between 2018 and 2021 that was primarily organic.

This year’s edition is considered monumental for these companies for overcoming seemingly insurmountable challenges and economic uncertainties brought about by the pandemic spanning from 2019 to the last quarter of 2022.

“We are humbled by this recognition at the same time we accept the challenge of breaking more glass ceilings. We attribute this growth  to the great trust clients have placed in us, allowing us to do great work to address their business challenges. We also acknowledge the hard work and dedication of everyone in the team, an integral part of our growth since we started,” said Gigil Managing Partner Jake Yrastorza.

As a full-service advertising agency, GIGIL Agency also specializes in a wide array of services including filter creation, media, events management, and more. Recently, the company introduced its full public relations services as well.

GIGIL has been recognized for the marketing effectiveness of its ideas by the APAC Effies in 2020, 2021, and 2022.  It was declared by Ad Age as International Small Agency of the Year in 2021.
