Alsons Western Mindanao provides printers to 4 public schools

The Alsons Power Group’s Western Mindanao Power Corporation (WMPC) recently turned over printer units to four national public high schools in Zamboanga City.

Western Mindanao Power Corp. HR and Community Relations supervisor Maui Banaag (center) hands over the printers to representatives of four national high schools (from left) Ms. Esperanza Pedro of the Bunguiao National High School, Mr. Edsel Dagalea of Bolong National High School, Ms. Gemma Tolentino of Manicahan National High School, and Mr. Erwin Eijansantos of Sangali National High School.  

The brand-new printers will be used in the production of learning modules for students of Bolong, Bungiao, Manicahan, and Sangali National High Schools.

WMPC operates a 100-megawatt diesel power plant in barangay Sangali Zamboanga City that plays a pivotal role in providing electricity for the city and ensuring power security for the Zamboanga Peninsula.

Alsons Power is Mindanao’s first private sector power generator with a portfolio of four power facilities serving over eight million people in 14 cities and 11 provinces in the country’s second largest island.
