Neither owner nor shareholder

It has come to our attention that the March 19 column of Mr. Charlie Manalo entitled “Oligarchy is back” mentioned that Vivant Energy Corporation is owned by the Aboitiz Group.

We would like to clarify that the Aboitiz Group is neither the owner nor a shareholder of Vivant Energy Corporation.

In this regard we respectfully request that Manila Standard take the necessary steps to correct the inaccurate information, including a retraction from Mr. Manalo.
