A refreshed take on Kia’s best-selling SUV with Korean-inspired flair and youthful energy
Kia Philippines has introduced a refreshed and limited-edition variant of its popular compact SUV, the Sonet. The Kia Sonet K-Style Edition is a nod to Kia’s Korean heritage and its modern, expressive design philosophy. “The Kia Sonet K-Style celebrates the vibrant energy of today’s new generation of drivers,” stated Jay Lopez, Managing Director of Kia Philippines. “It’s designed for those who want their first car to reflect their individuality… while embodying Kia’s understanding of what young drivers value most.”
The K-Style Edition amplifies the Sonet’s aesthetic with exclusive exterior enhancements. Limited to just 150 units, the SUV is available in two distinct color combinations: Sparkling Silver units with contrasting black 16-inch alloy wheels, and Aurora Black units with silver alloy wheels, with a bespoke K-Style side decal present on both options to further accentuate the vehicle’s sporty stance and visual length.
The model maintains the core performance and features of the standard Sonet, powered by a 1.5-liter gasoline engine paired with an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT). Found inside the cabin are a 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital instrument cluster, and an electric sunroof, among others. Convenience features include Remote Keyless Entry and Remote Engine Start for seamless operation.
Safety aids are standard for the Sonet K-Style through the Kia DriveWise suite of advanced driver assistance technologies. Features include Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Following Assist, and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist.
The Sonet K-Style Edition is limited to 150 units and is priced at P1,158,000. It comes standard with Kia’s 5-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty (whichever comes first). Kia Philippines encourages prospective buyers to visit their nearest showroom at the earliest opportunity to secure their unit and confirm availability while supplies last.
