Global automotive parts manufacturer Aisin is celebrating its 60th year of providing high-quality, Japanese-standard parts all over the world – including the Philippines. A member of the Toyota Group, Aisin has been a key Original Equipment (OE) supplier for major automotive brands worldwide, including Toyota, Honda, and Mitsubishi. In the Philippines, Aisin’s presence is significant, thanks to a joint venture with Toyota Motor Philippines through the Toyota Aisin Philippines facility in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. This facility directly contributes to the local production of vehicle transmission and drivetrain systems.
According to Marlon Beraquit, Deputy Chief Representative of Aisin Philippines, the brand doesn’t just meet standards, it sets them. He emphasizes that the same reliability found in brand-new vehicles is now just a single part away for aftermarket customers. Aisin’s extensive product catalog in the country covers everything from drivetrain and cooling system components to braking systems, engine parts, and lubricants. As the company looks toward the future, it plans to invest in sustainability, electrification, and other advanced automotive technologies, all while maintaining its core focus on durability and safety.
