Oil companies will likely increase pump prices by as much as P0.70 per liter effective Tuesday to reflect the movement of prices in the world oil market.

"Expect fuel prices to go up next week (June 8 – 14, 2021). Diesel will increase by P0.60 to P0.70 per liter. Gasoline will increase by P0.20 to P0.30 per liter," Unioil Petroleum Philippines, Inc. said in its weekly advisory.

On June 1, the oil companies raised the price of gasoline by P0.60 to P0.80 per liter, diesel by P0.40 per liter and kerosene by P0.25 per liter. These resulted in the year-to-date price increases of P9.30 per liter for gasoline, P7.60 per liter for diesel and P6.10 per liter for kerosene.

Meanwhile, Unioil is offering a fuel discount to all Filipinos who have already received their COVID-19 vaccines.
