The Bureau of Immigration is set to file a deportation case against suspected Indonesian suicide bomber Rezky Fantasya Rullie who was arrested in Jolo, Sulu Saturday.
The BI said Rullie has been the subject of surveillance for months.
Together with two other women—Inda Nhur and Fatima Sandra Jimlani Jama, believed to be wives of ranking Abu Sayyaf Group members—the 17-year-old Rullie was nabbed during a pre-dawn raid.
A suicide vest, bombs, and other improvised explosive device making components were reported to have been recovered from them.
"They have been brought to the police station for documentation and filing of charges. A deportation case has been recommended to be filed against Rullie for terrorism, being an illegal entrant, and for undesirability, apart from the criminal charges that she faces," said Melody Gonzales, BI Intelligence Mindanao Task Group head.
The BI, however, clarified that Rullie will first have to face the criminal charges filed against her before being deported.
Rullie is the widow of an Indonesian militant killed in Sulu in August, the Joint Task Force for the restive region said in a statement.
Rullie, alias Cici, is also believed to be the daughter of two suicide bombers who killed 21 people in an attack on a Catholic cathedral in Jolo early last year. That attack was blamed on a group linked to Abu Sayyaf.
The arrest comes less than two months after a pair of female suicide bombers blew themselves up on Jolo island in Muslim-majority Sulu, which killed 15 people and wounded 74 others.
Security forces blamed the August 24 attack on the Abu Sayyaf.
