MANILA—Several banks will open select branches during the holidays to continue to cater to their clients and the general public.
In an advisory, Banco de Oro Unibank Inc. said “mall and non-mall branches will do business on shortened banking hours on December 24, 30, and 31; while on December 26 and January 2, only the branches in malls will be open until 4 p.m. to accommodate clients’ banking transactions.”
“Regular banking hours, on the other hand, will be implemented on December 27 to 29,” it said.
“BDO’s ATM [automated teller machine] network is ready to handle clients’ transactions during this period,” it said as it encouraged clients to visit the bank’s website, www.bdo.com.ph, and Facebook page, www.facebook.com/BDOUnibank, for other information.
Several branches of the Gutianun-led EastWest Bank will also open during the holiday weekend, specifically on December 24, 26, 30, and 31, 2016 and on January 2, 2017.
