TWO minors died while another was seriously hurt in two separate fires in cities of Muntinlupa and Las Piñas Tuesday afternoon and early Wednesday morning, police said.

Southern Police District spokesperson Supt. Jenny Tecson identified the fatality in Muntinlupa fire as one-year-old Princess Jamaica Maquilan. She said Maquilan’s four-year-old brother Steve Nash was rushed to an undisclosed hospital due to first degree burn in the right leg.

The blaze, which started around 4 p.m., destroyed the house of the Maquilan family.

In Las Piñas City, 11-year- old Alfred Arcilla died in a fire of still unknown cause in a densely populated area along Chesa Street, Golden Acres, Talon-5.
