Unclaimed bodies of people killed in the middle of clashes between government forces and Maute group in Marawi City have been buried.

Twenty seven (27) were laid to rest on Monday in Maqbara Muslim Cemetary in Barangay Papandayan Caniogan.

Local authorities took DNA samples of the bodies before they were laid to rest.
