4 drug suspects die in Calamba

Camp Vicente Lim, Laguna—Four suspected drug personalities were killed after an encounter with police from Batangas province in Calamba City on Tuesday morning.

Three of the suspects were identified as Arnulfo de Silva, Eman Cabrera, and Renando Vergara, while the fourth is still unidentified, Batangas Provincial Director Sr. Supt. Leopoldo Cabanag said.

The suspects all died while being treated at Calamba Doctors Hospital. Recovered from them were five sachets of suspected shabu, one hand granade, two caliber .38 revolvers and two caliber .45 pistols.
