Nabbed for estafa

Two women, both real estate agents and both wanted for estafa, were arrested in separate operations at Indang and Trece Martires City in Cavite, police said.

Emelita Pitil, No. 9 on Alfonso’s Most Wanted Person list, was caught at Barangay Poblacion 1 in Indang, while Teresita Arica was arrested at her home in Barangay Inocencio in Trece Martires.

Pitil was arrested by virtual of a warrant issued by Judge Lerio Castigador of the Regional Trial Court Branch 15 in Naic for an estafa case filed in January 2015. Arica, meanwhile, was wanted for violating Article 315 of the Revised Penal Code after a warrant issued by Judge Bonifacio Pascua of RTC Branch 23 in Trece Martires.
