ROXAS, Isabela—Mayor Benedict Calderon has announced the completion of the P121-million infrastructure to go with the Agri-Pinoy Trading Center in  partnership with the Department of Agriculture (DA) and the provincial government.

“It is very timely for the thousands of tillers in Isabela to utilize the trading center which is strategically located in the vast Mallig Plains in the province,” he said.

“It is also seen as a catalyst of agricultural development in this part of Northern Luzon where large areas have not been fully utilized for agricultural purposes,” Calderon said.

Meanwhile, the DA inaugurated the Livestock Auction Market, an “AA” category  abattoir along with the Fruits and Vegetables Trading Center.

Benedict said facilities would ensure a faster flow of products from farm to market resulting in better prices.
