Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) games can now be held at the Araneta Coliseum.

The PBA said it has secured the clearance to hold the games in Quezon City after QC Mayor Joy Belmonte gave her go signal to the PBA, according to PBA commissioner Willie Marcial.

The PBA said fully vaccinated basketball fans can now watch their favorite basketball games “live.”

Marcial on Friday said that with the clearance from the QC government, the PBA has been allowed to stage the ongoing 2021 PBA Governors’ Cup at the Araneta Coliseum.

The PBA chief said games starting from December 15 to December 20 are scheduled to take place in Araneta Coliseum. He added that the sixth and final leg of PBA 3×3 first conference on December 21 and 22 will also be held there.

Marcial advised fans to wear their masks inside the coliseum. Unfortunately, fans cannot yet eat inside the venue, as recommended by the Quezon City local government.

Fans also need to bring their vaccination cards and valid IDs to enter the coliseum. Physical distancing will also be strictly followed.
