Robin Padilla: PH zaps COVID under Duterte

“Duterte delivers.”

This, according to administration senatorial candidate Robin Padilla, sums up the government’s COVID-19 pandemic response efforts, which has resulted in the whole country now minimal to low risk for COVID-19 according to the Department of Health.

Padilla said that like the President, he is throwing his support behind the government’s “Bayanihan, Bakunahan” project, which aims to vaccinate 15 million Filipinos from November 29 to December 1.

Kung mahal nyo sila, magpaturok na kayo,” the actor said.

Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire recently revealed that all regions in the Philippines “are now at minimal to low risk case classification with negative two-week growth rates and average daily attack rates less than seven per 100,000 population.”

Majority of the regions have a total COVID-19 bed and ICU (intensive care unit) utilization at low risk, added the Health official, while Metro Manila is at low risk case classification with a negative two-week growth rate and an average daily attack rate of 2.69 per 100,000 individuals.

Metro Manila’s total bed and ICU levels are likewise at low risk, said the doctor.
