The Police Regional Office 3, under the leadership of Regional Director Brig. Gen. Valeriano de Leon, has arrested 112 drug personalities in weeklong operations.
De Leon said they conducted continuous police operations to eradicate different illegal activities, especially in the campaign against illegal drugs, which is the priority program of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
In a report submitted to de Leon, PRO 3 conducted 65 police operations, which resulted in the arrest of 112 drug personalities from October 1 to 7.
The operations also resulted in a total confiscation of 71.95 grams of shabu with an estimated value of P489,246.40 and 656 grams of Marijuana with an estimated value of P78,720.
All arrested drug personalities were properly charged in court, the police office said.
Against illegal gambling, a total of 35 operations were conducted, which resulted in 140 persons arrested and money confiscated totaling P35,019.
On anti-illegal logging, a total of four operations were conducted leading to four persons arrested and with illegal wood seized valued at P460,010.50.
De Leon again commended all police personnel who are committed to ensuring peace and order in their region.
