PDEA seizes over P1B shabu, 3 suspects nabbed in Bacoor

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency on Friday seized 149 kilograms of shabu worth more than P1 billion and arrested three suspected drug peddlers in Bacoor City, Cavite.

BUSTED. The PDEA and Bacoor CPS seized 149 kilos of shabu and arrested three drug suspects in a buy-bust operation in Bacoor, Cavite. The confiscated contraband has a street value of more than P1 billion. JR Josue
Authorities identified the suspects as Jorlan San Jose, 26; Joseph Maurin, 38, and Joan Lumanog, 27, all residents of Talatag, Bukidnon.

Several PDEA agents acted as buyers of shabu and transacted with the suspects to buy P1,000 worth of shabu in Barangay Molino 3 on Thursday morning.

The suspects were caught red-handed receiving the money when police and PDEA agents cornered them. Seized from the suspect were 149 kilos of shabu with an estimated street value of P1.0281 billion.
