‘Sanaysining’ arts program starts May

Arts Research and Training Institute in Southern Tagalog Incorporated (ARTIST Inc.), a Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Regional Arts Center in Luzon, with the support from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), brings you Sanaysining Online Arts School Program on May 5 - June 12, 2021.

Sanaysining Arts School is the regular arts skills training workshop conducted annually by ARTIST Inc. for artists, cultural workers, artist-teachers, educators, organizers, cultural researchers and pedagogues. It aims to develop the educational, artistic, research and organizational capabilities of the participants through hands-on-a activities, games, exercises and laboratory workshops. In its first year in 1989, it launched ten short courses on arts and culture.

Since then, Sanaysining has developed fifteen short courses that include trainings for students and teachers of arts and design track, special program for the arts (SPA), other related subjects across curriculum and trainings for community cultural workers and organizers.

This year, twelve short courses are offered which include the following: Saliksik Research into production, Likhandula Theatre on Digital Platform, Teleradyo Radio Program Production, Madla Social Media Promotion and Marketing for Arts Organizations, Pangatnigan Music Production, Sinopsining Arts Management, Digital-Larawan Video Production, Sining-Biswal Visual Arts, Galaw-Goryo Ballet, Galaw-Koryo Folk Dance, Panulat Writing plays for stage and film and May-Akda Creative Writing. Each training workshop will culminate into either short performances and/or exhibits.
