P210m shabu seized in Las Piñas buy-bust

Police killed two suspected drug dealers and seized more than P210 million worth of shabu during a buy-bust operation late Tuesday night in Las Piñas City.  

The slain suspects were identified as Richard Jen Jieko Salameda Amarga and Andrew Guinto Garcia.

Authorities recovered 31 kilos of shabu worth P210.8 million during the anti-drug operation that resulted in the shootout along Isiah Street, Tierra Hermosa Subdivision in Barangay Almanza 1 around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday

Recovered from the crime scene were two loaded .45-caliber pistols, five mobile phones, a Toyota Innova (with registration plate DAY1328), various identification cards, and the P1.5 million boodle money used in the entrapment. 

Metro Manila police director Maj. Gen. Vicente Danao said a composite team from the Las Piñas Station – 4 Drug Enforcement Unit, Southern Police District and Philippine Drug Enforcement Group launched the operation after receiving information on the drug dealing activity of the suspects.

Philippine National Police chief Gen. Debold Sinas visited the crime scene and commended his men for the latest accomplishment. 

Initial reports showed the suspects were new dealers in Metro Manila, Calabarzon, and Central Luzon and were connected to a drug syndicate.
