PAL cancels some flights to West Visayas

Flag carrier Philippine Airlines canceled several flights going to Western Visayas after the government suspended inbound passenger travel in the region.

PAL cancelled all flights from Manila to Bacolod, Iloilo, Antique, Caticlan, Kalibo, and Roxas cities until April 10.

It also suspended flights from Cebu to Caticlan until April 10, and flights in Cebu to and from Bacolod on April 9.

PAL flights going to Manila from Iloilo, Bacolod, Roxas, and Kalibo will not be affected and will continue to operate during this period.

The Civil Aeronautics Board made the travel restriction in Region 6 following the endorsement of the Department of Interior and Local Government.

Air travelers affected by the cancelations may refund their tickets, avail of unlimited rebooking until December 31, 2021, or convert the ticket to a Travel Voucher, which they can avail until June 30, 2021.

“This is an evolving situation and we seek your understanding and cooperation as we make adjustments in our operations,” PAL said.
