The Department of Agrarian Reform is set to distribute land titles and support services to farmers of Sablayan in Occidental Mindoro today.

Secretary John Castriciones identified an area of 181.5 hectares of land comprising 110 individual certificates of land ownership awarded under the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program for distribution to 100 farmer-beneficiaries.

He will also hand over land titles to farmers’ homes through the agency’s Serbisyong DAR-to-Door.

“I will personally deliver these land titles to give them hope, to let them feel that despite this pandemic, the government is here ready to give them help and support,” he said.

The DAR chief, along with other agency officials, would turn over support services for the beneficiaries worth P 3.2 million.
