Emergency room operations of the Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center will remain closed until August 31 while management makes the facility safer to patients amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

From August 19 to 26, the health facility said its emergency room operations were limited to give way to the disinfection of the emergency service complex amid the rising cases of COVID-19.
