The senator, formerly with the Senate Committee on Public Services, now leads the Finance Committee. The KPA, or Senate Bill No. 2699, proposes key changes: simpler telecom company approvals, better radio spectrum management, infrastructure sharing, and consumer protection standards.

An amendment introduced by Poe seeks to attract new technologies like low-earth orbit satellites, potentially paving the way for companies like Starlink, which has already invested ₱600 million. Ram Superable

Poe believes clear policies and streamlined services will help businesses and consumers and emphasized that the country’s digital transformation must be equitable and inclusive. Ram Superable
