The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) has seized 500 grams of shabu worth P3.4 million and nabbed two alleged high-value targets in a buy- bust operation in Cotabato City.
The raid, held with the assistance of the Philippine National Police, and the Philippine Marine, was stated at Poblacion 5, Cotabato City on Jan. 8.
The suspects were identified only as Thing and Saima, both from Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte.
The duo allegedly operated their illegal drug business in nearby towns in the Maguindanao area, including Cotabato City.
They yielded a piece of transparent plastic sachet containing some 500 grams of shabu worth P3.4 million. Also seized from the suspects were the marked money used in the operation, two mobile phones, wallets, and identification cards.
Appropriate charges were being prepared against the suspects who were detained at the PDEA-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao jail. Rio N. Araja
